This annual summit is based on our foundational experience in both travel and professional learning. It is designed with the needs of female-identifying educators in mind. It aims to create community, champion the female voice, provide a vital space to reenergize personal and professional purpose… and simply empowHER!

empowHER Exploration
This 2nd annual empowHER summit will again be held over 3 nights at the beautiful Horse Shoe Farm near Asheville, North Carolina. This incredible location provides us with space to explore, connect with nature, and learn from local female leaders as we seek to explore the threads of purpose, crossroads and gender and their impact on the following questions:
- What empowers you as a female leader?
- How can you empower other females in your school community?
- What are other female leaders doing to thrive in their own community?

Nitty Gritty
July 8 - July 11, 2025
Housing
Participants will reside in the many stunning properties on the grounds of Horse Shoe Farm. Participants should be prepared to share rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
Activities
The grounds of the Farm and its stunning amenities are open to participants throughout our stay: trails, pool & hot tub, sauna, and game room. Open agenda times will be shared in advance for participants interested in booking spa appointments.
Meals
Healthy, farm-to-table meals will be primarily served at Horse Shoe Farm and are included in registration. Lunch one day in Asheville is open for you to explore!
