This new annual summit is based on our foundational experience in both travel and professional learning. It is designed with the needs of female-identifying educators in mind as it aims to create community, champion the female voice, provide a vital space to reenergize personal and professional purpose… and simply empowHER.

Day 4- June 28: Optional spa visit;
Morning WLS Purpose based Learning Session & closure; Mid-Morning Departure, transfer to Asheville Airport
Day 1- June 25: Arrival at Horse Shoe Farm; Welcome farm-to-table dinner at Silo House
Day 3- June 27:
Optional morning yoga; Day trip to Asheville to visit with local female leaders.

empowHER Exploration
This inaugural empowHER summit will be held over 3 nights at the beautiful Horse Shoe Farm near Asheville, North Carolina. This incredible location provides us with space to explore, connect with nature, and learn from local female leaders as we seek to answer the following questions:
- What empowers you as a female leader?
- How can you empower other females in your school community?
- What are other female leaders doing to thrive in their own community?
Nitty Gritty
June 25 - June 28, 2024
Housing
Participants will reside in the many stunning properties on the grounds of Horse Shoe Farm. Most rooms will be single-occupancy with shared bathrooms and common areas.
Meals
Healthy, farm-to-table meals will be primarily served at Horse Shoe Farm and are included in registration. Lunch one day in Asheville is open for you to explore!
Transport
Transport to and from Asheville’s airport is included. Additionally, transportation to Asheville and any other group activities will be provided.
- $2350 includes 3 nights accommodations, most meals, transport, program materials, 2 virtual follow-up sessions during the 2024-2025 school year
- $1000 due upon registration
